Top tips to help you clear clutter!

It’s great to hire a professional cleaner for your office, but they can’t be there all the time! Here’s some tips to help you keep your workspace clutter free in between your cleaners visits.
1. Don’t just stack things up in piles. Find a place for every bit of paper, every time. There’s only two options - file it or bin it.
2. Invest in good containers and find a place for all your knick knacks (or throw them out!). Label the containers and stack them neatly. Make sure they are easily accessible or you won’t use them.
3. Clearly label your containers, files and folders. That way you’ll always know what’s inside and be more likely to file paperwork and put things away.
4. Tidy your desk and work area every day before you leave the office. A little bit of de-cluttering each day is much more managable than a big Spring clean once a year. Plus, it’s really nice to turn up in the morning to a clean desk, it makes you feel positive for the whole day.
5. Move your waste paper basket closer to you and use it. Throw out bits of paper and rubbish as soon as you need to, don’t let it accumulate on your desk.
6. Don’t eat at your desk. It just causes more mess and dirt. make a point of leave your workspace to eat your lunch. Besides, we all need to take a break for health and safety reasons and it’s good exercise.
